Dr. Laura has had much training in emotional counseling for childhood trauma. She attended Buffalo School of the Bible in the early 1980’s studying psychology and counseling to fulfill a desire she had to see people set free and made whole. Jesus said “He came to give us life more abundantly” we are all a product of the things that were said or done to us in our childhood, usually between the ages of 6-12. We sabotage our successes in the future because of those “lies or fears we believe about ourselves. This is what the enemy of our soul uses to keep us from abundance. Either it be in relationships, careers or raising our own children and passing on those generational traumas, or as the Bible calls them “Curses”. The good news is we can find answers to remove the roadblocks that hold us captive and keep us bound.
For about 6 years Dr. Laura pursued her passion helping victims of sexual abuse become whole again as a lay counselor through the church. In her pursuit she realized many of her clients suffered from lack of nutrients due to poor health and improper diet. This shifted her career and to studying about Herbs and Homeopathic Remedies. Being set free and made whole was another piece of the puzzle to add to her education in Naturopathy. Henceforth, was the birth of the Healthy Living Center in 2003.
Dr. Laura has learned the importance of teaching that the SPIRIT, SOUL and BODY cannot be addressed separately. They must all 3 experience wholeness. Dr. Laura has developed a prayer/counsel session for her clients to experience freedom and deliverance both emotional and spiritual. This is NOT a counseling session but a prayer/freedom experience. Together you will allow the Holy Spirit to do the work through prayer. We call this RHTherapy.

The THERAPY is allowing the Holy Spirit to speak “truth” to you. Jesus said “you will hear/know the truth and the truth will set you free”.
